Chances of high wind and fire danger on Sunday into early next week have increased

The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Friday calls for mostly clear and sunny skies, with patchy fog in some areas in the region.

Daytime highs will be mostly in the 60s to 70s on the coast, in the 60s to 80s around the bay, and in the 80s to 90s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in the 50s.

Forecasters say weather conditions in the Bay Area will be quiet through the rest of the week with a slight warm-up on Friday across the interior.

Near normal temps are expected by the weekend, while chances of high wind and fire danger on Sunday into early next week have increased.
