Each year the Mountain View Voice Holiday Fund raises money to support programs serving families and children in the Mountain View area. In 2024 seven nonprofit organizations shared equally in the more than $50,000 raised.
A list of the grantees are to the right, and articles written about the grant recipients are below.
A unique feature of the Holiday Fund is that every dollar raised is given away each year in grants, with no administrative or marketing costs. The Embarcadero Media Foundation covers all the expenses and donates all the advertising to promote it.
It is a tribute to the caring people of the Midpeninsula that over $1.1 million was raised this year from readers of Embarcadero Media newspapers and websites. It gives us great joy to connect donors with grantees and that so much good work can be done to make lives better.
