The Valley Transportation Authority will close five stations starting Wednesday, April 24, to replace track ballasts, rail, wood ties and signal components of the light rail system, Santa Clara County said Saturday.

Mountain View, Whisman, Middlefield, Bayshore NASA, and Moffett Park light rail stations will be closed from April 24 to April 28, the county said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

VTA will operate a bus bridge between the Mountain View and Lockheed Martin stations, serving Whisman station, Middlefield station and Moffett Park station. There will be no bus bridge at Bayshore NASA Station.

Other segments of the light rail lines will be closed for construction periodically from late April through late summer, VTA said.

The schedule is available at the Light Rail Rehab web page.
