Registration open for Mountain View citywide garage sale

Mountain View residents can now register to participate in this year’s citywide garage sale on the weekend of Sept. 14-15.

Last year, roughly 150 homes signed up to participate in the annual tradition, with a wide variety of items on sale in yards and garages throughout Mountain View.

The city postponed this year’s event from its usual timing the first weekend in May after rainy weather impacted last year’s sales.

Now scheduled to occur in mid-September, interested residents can sign up for one or both days of the weekend at MountainView.gov/GarageSale

As usual, the city plans to compile a map of participating addresses and this year also intends to pilot an interactive online map with the ability for users to filter by date and items for sale.
