Police dispatchers received a report around 11:29 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, about a fight that broke out earlier in the morning at Don Giovanni, located at 235 Castro St. An employee pushed and threw an apron at another employee while working in the kitchen and then fled the restaurant, according to police. The employee who was pushed is seeking prosecution, and the case has been sent to the District Attorney’s office for review, police said.

The next evening around 5:43 p.m. on Monday, May 20, Mountain View police received another report of a battery incident between two employees that had occurred at Walmart at 600 Showers Drive. A Walmart employee told police that a co-worker pushed him in the chest, which caused him to fall on the floor.

The co-worker provided a different statement and denied the battery, police said. No video surveillance or independent witnesses were available to corroborate the statements. The case also has been sent to the District Attorney’s office for review, police said.
